Kurt Bleicken

During his career, Mr. Bleicken has worked with or served on the board of nonprofits in land conservation, education, the arts, a community technical college, and several charitable foundations. As a result, he is very familiar with the technical challenges facing nonprofit organizations. In 1992, Mr. Bleicken founded GreenPages, a company that sells hardware and software to corporations across the country. Under his leadership, GreenPages grew from $1 million in revenues in 1992 to $100 million in1999, and made Inc. magazine's list of 500 fastest growing companies in the United States three years in a row.

Mr. Bleicken designed and wrote the software that allowed GreenPages to achieve its success. The software was intuitive, easy to use, and extremely powerful. It was able to accurately handle over 8,000 records per month with over 125 users in the system. He has since designed and built software systems for companies as varied as an internet B2B startup and a high tech company which refurbished networking equipment.
